The home furnishing licensing agency

Product Lounge is the go-to home licensing firm, known for innovative product extensions in home furnishings. We develop collaborations for brands, designers, archives, and influencers, targeting luxury to mid-tier distribution across retail, DTC, hospitality, and trade. Our primary focus includes furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallcoverings, rugs, bedding, decorative hardware, and tile.

Licensing and collaborations can be some of the most powerful tools in a brand’s marketing arsenal.

Licensing provides the opportunity to expand into new product categories without significant capital investment with partners who are experts in those categories.  Licensing infuses brands with increased visibility, additional customer touch points, added retail and online placement, enhancement of perceived image, and of course, revenue generation.  Product Lounge is fully committed to providing our clients with impactful licensing partnerships with best of breed partners, comprised of core products that reflect their design aesthetic and brand positioning.

Founded in 2004 by Jason Rubinstein and Robyn Malin, Product Lounge helps our clients leverage the power of their brands and designs to build successful licensing programs and collaborations.

  • As the co-founding Partner at Product Lounge, Robyn Malin is an experienced marketing executive who is responsible for business management for Product Lounge clients. In that capacity she oversees day-to-day licensing activities; including contract adherence, business practices, royalty reporting, and collection. Prior to founding Product Lounge, Robyn spent 15 years in fashion on both the manufacturer and retail sides of the business; including roles as VP Marketing for national retailer, Loehmann’s and heading up marketing for the Candie’s shoe brand where she oversaw its extensive global licensing program.

  • Jason spearheads strategic business development and sales. He has developed successful licensing programs across most channels of the home industry; including trade, DTC, retail, and wholesale. Prior to launching Product Lounge, Jason was Managing Partner at licensing firm, Ananta Group, where he was responsible for over $150 million of licensed product annually for such clients as Farberware, Hearst Corp., Diane Von Furstenberg. and Playboy. Ananta was founded by Jason’s father, Chip Rubinstein, founder and CEO of Anne Klein, and one of the first fashion executives to license.
